Use dolomitic limestone to raise the soil pH by neutralizing the soil acidity. Correct soil pH should be determined by a proper soil pH test. Proper soil pH levels (between 6.0 and 7.0) optimize the availability of nutrients to the plant. Dolomite is also a good source of magnesium and calcium. Lime raises the pH of the soil.
Application
Lawns – Apply 2 kg per 10 m2. Spread evenly over the lawn. For best results, water, thoroughly following application. May be repeated every 2 months until correct soil pH is obtained.
Gardens – Apply 2 kg per 10 m2 of prepared garden bed. Work well into the top 10 cm of soil.
