Purpose:

We are looking for a part-time Café Attendant to join our team! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a welcoming café environment, preparing simple but delicious food, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and committed to maintaining a clean and inviting café space.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare sandwiches, hot dogs, and other café menu items with attention to quality and presentation.
• Serve customers efficiently and with a friendly attitude.
• Operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Keep the café clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth café operations.
• Any additional duties as they may arise

Qualifications & Skills

• Manitoba Food Safety Certification (required).
• WHMIS Certification (required).
• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service role is an asset.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Availability for part-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
