Purpose:

Green Spot is looking for part-time staff (with some full-time weeks) to join our Tree & Perennial Nursery team! Positions run mid-April to June, with select roles extending to October. Our busiest season is May – mid-June, so we need energetic, plant-loving team members to help us thrive!

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with plant selections
• Water and care for trees & perennials
• Operate a till and database system
• Maintain nursery spaces (weeding, restocking, sweeping, etc.)

Qualifications & Skills

• Comfortable working in various weather conditions
• Previous experience in a nursery, greenhouse, or agriculture related role is an asset.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability for part-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
• ** Must be available May long weekend, Mothers Day weekend
