The Green Spot Home and Garden is a locally-owned business in the community of Brandon, Manitoba. It is located on a ten-acre parcel of land nestled at the east end of Rosser Avenue, beside CP Rail and the Assiniboine River. In 1978, the Vreeman family started The Green Spot as a small market garden and greenhouse operation. Eventually the market garden gave way to full greenhouse production and underwent major expansion from 1999 to 2003. The Green Spot was purchased by Bernie Whetter in 2007 and has further developed into a full retail location alongside the greenhouse operation which still maintains a family run feel.
The Green Spot is now a year-round destination for a little dose of soothing green in all seasons. Relax by our tropical fish pond or be amused by the antics of our popular feathered friends!
We are now all under one roof. Sip a special drink or enjoy lunch at The Secret Garden Café. Giftware, cut flowers, and floral arrangements for any occasion are beautifully presented through The BloomBox Flower Studio located on-site at the Green Spot. Visit The Green Spot in any season when you are looking for a unique item in potted plants, home décor, fashion, or a special gift!

The Green Spot reinvents as the seasons change - from Spring and Summer gardening to a welcoming fall environment, and into our striking Christmas Unwrapped display in the winter!
